30 Reviews For This Extension
Opens random websites as an advertising stream revenue.
Opens ads randomly in a new tab
Worked perfectly for a while, but then it started to opening new tabs redirecting to other websites. Very unethical practice, and is now being marked as malware or spyware. The developer would have been respected more if they requested to be supported on their GitHub repo.
Silently added ads as new tab at random moment - shot in the leg. Shamefull self-unalivement
Simple and reliable! Recommend to use this extension
Opening up other sites that are advertisements
It's now a absolute spy & advertisement extension
Chrome store needs to pull this extension, it should never be okay for an extension to start opening web pages that it wasn't given permission to open.
Started opening full page ads, with no warning or culpable explanation
Opening a random website will never be acceptable. Gone.
Works well for me. My only complaint is that it only allows you one character for the profile badges. I'm using it for country IP spoofing, so it would be great to have two characters here, then you could name them using the ISO country codes.
it's really nice and helpful
Recently, this extension has been causing me performance issues on Chrome. Mostly stuttering and freezing. Removing the extension made the issues go away. Unfortunate as I'd been using it for about a year without issue before this. Will probably have to look for a simpler alternative.
It's really simple to use and lightweight. Recommended if you want to get started as quick as possible.
Gives more direct feedback from custom headers than curl
Putting ads injecting aside (I haven't forget nor have I forgiven) I started experiencing weird performance issues with this extension. Right now it straight up doesn't open and i don't even know what can I do about it.
Sold out to MaxAI! At one point was injecting ads into pages (definitely out of scope for ModHeader). They may have stopped since I noticed this behavior, but as long as they're partnered with MaxAI I can't trust them and I'd recommend you not trust them either! Looking into Requestly for similar functionality (and some Postman functionality to boot). Don't have a verdict on it yet but it's open source (search github for "requestly") so that certainly bodes better than this MaxAI "partnership"!
This is a simple and powerful Extension!
Easy to use for my simple use case.
Attempted to use this to test Accept-Language but it just outright did not work. Ended up having to do it the long way, changing language via Chrome settings every time I wanted to test. Don't bother with this extension.
Very practical. I love it !
Great product! Keep up the great work.
Is it stopped working with the automated browser in latest chrome version / driver? Its not working for me.
Works!
Amazing plugin - does exactly what is it meant to do - modify the HTTP request's headers.
useful but with invasive ads of maxai
Amazing!
I don't see the ads people mentioned, maybe because I have uBlock origin, not sure. But it worked and solved my issue, as I needed to test different Cache-Control headers.
